Lately there is nothing but talk of Storytelling especially in relation to marketing strategies or the creation of websites, but what is the storytelling? What is it for?
Storytelling means telling a story, narration; specifically it means telling an emotion, transmitting the passion and knowledge of the story to be told.
To show the evolution that is inside and behind a product or a company, to transfer the emotion in an experience.
Storytelling is often used in advertising to present a product in a different way; in reality it is not like a common advertising or a simple presentation but it brings into play the emotions related to the history of the product or company. The heart of storytelling is the story you want to tell but also the creativity, the strategy to implement and the technology to use.
Simple: storytelling is out of the ordinary. It is a kind of personalized marketing and unique and unrepeatable. You can’t copy and change the name of the product and then re-adjust the story.
Storytelling involves the viewer in a sensory way. At the center of the story there is not the product or the company but there are emotions. You give importance to the story explaining and finding reasons why to choose this company or this product.
